L TEAM PRODUCTIONS AIMS TO CREATE A BETTER WORLD
BY PROMOTING ENGINEERING AND EDUCATION
The project started with an 18 year old Honda Civic named "Lastochka". "Lastochka" means "Swallow" in Russian. Swallows migrate during the winters but always return home. After many years of good service in Norway it was time for Lastochka to return home. Our team set out on the road trip of a lifetime.

In cooperation with, the international NGOs: "Engineers Without Borders" and "World Education Foundation", a series of lectures has been set up. These interactive lectures aim to promote technical education through demonstrations and sharing of personal experiences.

During our previous travels we have been overwhelmed by the kindness, generosity and hospitality that we encountered in various countries. This inspired us to start L Team Productions. Throughout our "Travel for Change" project we plan to make a humble contribution to the countries we visit.

The Team
The team consists of three professional engineers with an international background and strong communicational skills. All are currently working for the largest Nordic engineering company and travel with the project during their time off. They have been top students (MSc/PhD) from highly recognised universities and have lecturing experience in technical subjects.

The team consists of Honda Civic 1997 and three professional engineers with an international background and strong communicational skills. All are currently working for the largest Nordic engineering company and travel with the project during their time off. Classes
The lectures aim to show how meaningful and interesting engineering is and are designed forstudents aged 10-14
(grade 5-9). Interaction with the students and demonstrations make for an exciting program capturing the attention of the students. Practical exercises have been prepared in which the students get hands-on experience in mini engineering projects. For example: the design, building and testing of a bridge model and solar car.

Interviews
Our project is all about inspiration. We aim to stimulate students to think in possibilities and see solutions. Throughout our classes we hope to show them that a creative approach can resolve not just engineering challenges but also many other obstacles in life. We interview inspirational people along the way and hope that by showing their views and experiences students can be motivated to reach their full potential.

Schools of the Future
Through our road trip we wish to raise awareness and funds for EWB NL's initiative "Schools of the Future". This project's aim is to teach children and communities how technology can improve their lives. Educational packages, with a focus on engineering and entrepreneurship, will be designed and distributed in developing areas. Our experience from the classes will provide valuable input for these packages and the project. The hope is that many will be inspired to start small technology driven companies.
Support "Schools of the Future" by making a donation below. Please note that every cost incurred during our trip is covered by the team members. All funds raised will be donated to Schools of the Future, upon completion of our project. Thank you for supporting this worthy cause!
